Since August 2007, World Medical Resources (WMR) has been the work of business partners Sherry Weston and Sandy Pennington.   The website is designed to be a resource for medical tourists looking for information about medical travel, and then to present that information in a format that is user friendly and intuitively searchable.

WMR is not acting in any way as a medical authority although both partners have an extensive interest in medicine. Sandy has an inactive Texas license as an RN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). Sherry has a background in business management and programming.

WMR's goal is to provide "full service information" for the medical travel industry. We diligently search for healthcare professionals and other vendors who are interested in working with the medical traveler. Our vision is become the internet's premier website for medical travel information. 

Plans include visiting all of the vendors represented on these pages as soon as possible after they have joined the website. We can then report back to the user with photographs and first hand accounts, interviews, blogs, and location video.  We also plan to interview others in the industry give fresh viewpoints and information as frequently as possible.

In the meantime, our primary function will be to verify the credentials of physicians and dentists by contacting local licensing authorities and other resources.

Our sincere desire is to work within the medical travel community to help provide the potential traveling patient with good information.
